This is the first time in a long time that I've been impressed by anything I've read in the Herald. Seeing how it's been traditionally, a conservative paper (especially in terms of anti-Castro rhetoric) this is fairly big.


Secondly, I'm also pleased to announce that I do in fact remember seeing PoA. Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves is on and I've just been admiring Rickman's acting. Only he can make a line like "I will cut out your heart with a SPOON" work. Then I had the thought later on that it'd be cool to see a movie with he and Gary Oldman in it. It took me a few more moments to think of the face off scene between he and Rickman in POA.

Jeremy Irons should be in this series.

So. . . Bloody hell

I just read something amazing off of www.pinkfloydz.com. There's been a rumour floating around about a Pink Floyd reunion tour. . . with Roger Waters

That's complete fucking bullshit.

BUT. . . there's a nice, huge But in this one. . . Nick Mason, the drummer for the band in question has some news.

He's dispelled the rumor regarding Roger's return to the band, in fact, it's been speculated that Roger will tour soon himself. Nick, however says a couple things. First there will be a video collection coming soon, possibly even a tour to support it. Apparently, they are also looking at some new material that's allegedly been written.

I find the news, if it turns out to be more then Nick trying to sell some copies of his new book on life inside the band, to be better than a reunion tour. Because let's face it, when you have a couple albums that are one of the record holders for most selling, you don't need cash.

Nothing is definite, however, but I am damned hopeful.
