They're announcing that Yassir Arafat has just died. Despite anyone's views on the man himself and his cause and of course, his actions fighting the cause, it's hard not to feel as though a great man has left us and the world is somehow fundamentally changed by his passing.

These days, wouldn't surprise me if it was. . . wouldn't surprise me if it was the leadership too.

He was standing in the way of a lot of agendas. Personally, it feels like it was just time for him to move on. It something you could just feel like was coming soon.
