Sky Captain and the World ofTomorrow was good. It was lots of fun and I recommend it. My brain is misfiring like crazy and I probably shouldn't be on the net at all. Fun.
Lens cap. Bloody hysterical. Except for one thing. Taylor and Jess both laughed. Ha, ha, ohhhh, such a woman! Ohhhh, :pat, pat: Granted, I've been known to do the slightly melodramatic, "no, no, I know what I'm doing -- oh, wait -- I don't know what I'm doing? I left out one very MAJOR detail? Whoops" -- sort of thing. But Taylor seemed to think it a testament against women. Bah. "Frankie was only useful because she was boyish." Bah.
Okay, boys, let's skip back fifty years. If that's how you want to play it, I'm sure men would have been quite satisfied then jacking-off with TV dinners.
Loved the filmmaking style. Thought the characters were great -- Law and Paltrow had great chemistry; and I've definitely missed seeing Embry on screen. Nice first run for the youngest of the De Laurentiis clan.
